King Khan, the emperor of Bollywood, was born on 2 November 1965 in Delhi into an ordinary family. He spent the first past year of his life in Mangalore. Jah in 1960, his maternal grandfather Iftiar Ahmed was an engineer.

And his grandfather Jan Muhammad was the ethnic Pathan of Afghanistan. His father Mir Taj Mohammad Khan was from Peshawar, Pakistan, a noted lawyer and freedom fighter. He had come to New Delhi before the partition of India in 1947.
